About the event
Each year, an estimated 56.8 million people, including 25.7 million in their last year of life, are in need of palliative care. Worldwide, only about 14% of people who need palliative care currently receive it.
On Sunday the 15th of November, 2026, PALS will be hosting its Annual PALS Walk for the third consecutive year; a 10km walk around North Adelaide and the Adelaide CBD to raise awareness about the importance of palliative care through supporting The Mary Potter Foundation. By participating in this initiative, you are not only supporting the growth of PALS into a sustainable support group, but are also contributing to changing this statistic, allowing for more people to access palliative care services who desperately need it.
