PALS
OUR VISION
Building on the success of my Year 10 EIF project (December 2024) and leading into AIF, I aim to take this initiative beyond what was initially imagined. Through my work in AIF, I hope to transform what began as a grassroots community group into a fully operational, government-registered, not-for-profit charity.
This transformation will involve a range of strategic actions, such as marketing and promotional campaigns, launching a structured development program, forming an official executive team, and undergoing a full name and logo rebrand. The goal is to clearly communicate that this is a “charity for all”, because "No matter what, the Pals have got you.”
Throughout AIF, I will implement a series of targeted strategies to bring this vision to life and position PALS as a truly universal charity organisation.

OUR STORY
PALS is a charity organisation ran by a group of young South Aussies dedicated to providing compassionate support for individuals facing significant problems, no matter the cause. We are based in Adelaide, South Australia, and primarily consist of secondary school students. Our simple motto, “The Smallest Actions, can have the Biggest Impact", perfectly describes our common goal, which is to go out of our way to help others no matter the cause, whilst expecting nothing in return. "No matter what, the PALS have got you."
The organisation has had incredible success Over the past 2 years, raising over $16,800 for The Mary Potter Foundation over the course of 4 initiatives; the 2023, 2024, and 2025 Walk For Love initiatives, and the ‘Annual Pals Walk’ (2024) which was created, planned, organised, and ran by our founder, Nathan Bishop, marking our first original initiative. Furthermore, PALS has also raised over $3,800 for ReachOut Australia in the 2024 and 2025 Laps For Life initiatives, raising awareness for Youth Mental Health across Australia. Through this success, Nathan has a strong aspiration to take the group further, through following his distinct vision to transform PALS into a truly universal charity organisation.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Over previous events, PALS has built up an important reputation that we aim to uphold in 2025 and beyond. This is how we aim to have a heavy focus on raising awareness about the cause to justify why people should get involved. We believe that by spreading awareness and informing those about the cause and organisation in various ways such as on our socials and through physical material during the lead-up and during each initiative, more people will jump on board and participate, ultimately growing PALS and strengthening our impact.
